One of Fall / Winter’s 2008 most glamorous trend is the return of Lace apparel and accessories. Prada’s Fall 2008 collection removed the unsexy out of lace , added new textures and materials , made it mysterious and dark and the result was an ultra feminine and rock chic collection which we will remember for longest time.

Though tricky to handle the lace apparel could add lots of fun and drama to your ensemble. Try not to overdo it ( unless you are a size 0 or 2 ) as I personally feel lace makes you look slightly wider unless you stick to a very small print. My suggestion would be to stick to either a trench jacket in lace ( for meager mortals who are size 4, 6 or 8 like me) or some full sleeves blouse or dresses in black lace. Add color to your ensemble by wearing a brooch or a thin necklace in jewel tones.
